Hello everybody
Just out of curiosity: When does a commit on https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon-spices-applets get available as a download on https://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com or in the System settings download tab?
Is there some time frame for this and how does it work? I have search around about this but found no info this far.
As an example right now: The applet weather@mockturtl https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon-s ... @mockturtl was updated 2 days ago but it's still the old version on the download page https://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/applets/view/17 and in the System Settings Dl Tab.

Maybe you or your ISP employ a caching proxy that's not working too well. Looks updated to me:

Yes you are right, it was my first thought that it's a local cache problem. But it would help if someone knows the routines when I check with my ISP, tried several different browsers. So if you download the zip and open the file metadata.json, what version do you have? I have 2.1.6 and on Github it's 2.1.7. Did check on another network and just got the new one, so you are correct. Anyone else that still have the old one?

Edit: I now tried 3 different connections, work, home and mobile. The last one is updated but not the other two and we are now on thee days according to Github and two days on spices? And yes I have cleaned out web browser cache and checked that I do not use any proxy at all, at least what I aware of. Now it's 4 Mach around 18:52 and the commit was on 2 March at 01:37 CET. So I am NOT complaining about waiting and do get that there is delays on the net, it's fine, I just want to know more, so does anybody know how Github/Spices works with updates?

My final conclusion: 2 out of 3 connections took 4 days from commit to update in system downloads. One took 2 days.
