I have found some great tools for DVD and blu ray high defination autoring for linux, it just takes some digging around on the internet to find them. Here at this link I listed all of the tools I use. http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=122314

Let me list them here. These tools are all linux native tools without wine needed, why use wine when on linux? Just my opinion but if others wanted to use windows tools, they would install windows.

Handbrake for conversion.

DeVeDe is yet another good video converter for a DVD format on linux. It makes the proper VOB and Audio files in that app you can drag and drop to the above burning application.

TsMuxeR for linux.

MKV extractor for linux with its GUI. You can find the link for that here. http://www.iloveubuntu.net/mkv-extracto ... -mkv-files

WinFF, it has a linux build for this tool for the audio for conversion on movies.

Audio codecs for linux come with VLC player or through seperate codecs for linux at this link here, one that comes to mind is FFDshow tryouts. http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/download.php

You see there are lots of tools for DVD and blu ray authoring on the internet for linux.
