last week i burned the Bea iso on my mac and burned at high rate and no issues.
I just bruned iso from american site and burned at high speed but my new laptop isn't in yet to try to see the success or failure.
I hope it is a good CD Burn now that others are having some trouble.
Dod not stop either just plugged along on the download.

Hello Clem,
Perfect work!
The question is does the advice: "don't select anything before installation because the installer may crash" apply to Bianca stable too?
To the friends above who had trouble with burning the ISO:
IMHO, There is nothing wrong with K3b but select a slow speed burning like 8 kbs in DAO mode.
Greetings, npap
PS. 9:00 PM GMT, I installed Bianca on my test disc, selecting Greek before installation!
All menus are in Greek and the installation (with no Internet connection) was very easy. I am now using Linux Mint Greek Bianca.
I just got some updates, the new kernel, etc. and added Greek language pack afterwards with Control Panel>Language Support .

Just to note to say that Uncle Bob is not alone in his upgrading from Bea to Bianca results - same her, I'm still loading "Bea" when booting up.
Also I thought the menu's place and style would be changed (or it seemed so when I booted up the beta version of Bianca from CD) but now it's no different from Bea - at least on my box.
One other thing, tried to re-install openoffice-en but no luck:
mint@mint-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get install openoffice.org-en
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Couldn't find package openoffice.org-en
mint@mint-desktop:~$
So where's the english language version of open office?
