Thank you, clem.

Just updated my secondary laptop (D830 with HDD) to Mate 19.2, took 35 minutes from start to finish and things seems be snappier.

Edit: 7 minutes to update Elitebook 840 G3 with SSD, nice.
Mint Mate 19.1. Main rig is HP 800G2 I5 6500 16GB ram, 120GB boot drive, 2x3TB, 1x4TB data drives. Oldest rig is Mate 18.3 on Dell D620 with 32bits core duo.

Betas never appear in the update manager. So by virtue of it appearing in the update manager, you can be sure that it's the stable version.

If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!

I did think that was the case but wanted to make sure before I install it, better safe than sorry. Many thanks.

Just upgraded to 19.2 Tina and so far so good except one annoying issue popped up.
In the panel I see now 3 vertical dots with every separator I have, looks really awful.
This used to be a darker vertical line which you hardly could see, these 3 black dots have to go so any idea how to change that?

My panel:

Use a different theme (or modify the one you're using if you know how). Also it is preferred that you create a thread in the support section if you're looking for support, release announcement threads are not the right place.

Why should I choose another theme due to problems after an update?
Modifying will not solve the issue.
Will start a new threat.

What "problem"? I should think that was an intentional change during the efforts to raise the contrast on everything in that theme (see the release notes).
