When will final be released? I ran the beta and encountered zero problems on my old picky computer. 19.3 runs very good.

When it's ready.

Then you're already good to go. :) Update Manager should take you to "final" via its normal course of package updates.

Working great here also. I would expect to see final in a week or so, but no need to reinstall if your running beta just upgrade.

I heard the newer version of CInnamon is lighter. Did Nemo get any improvements?
always wanting to learn more about Linux. It saved me from the Windows 10 telemetry and SAAS nightmare.

Tips
Username and password in the live session
In the live session, the username is "mint" and the password is empty (i.e. just press Enter if asked for a password).
this should be standard on all distros a text on desktop so i don't have to hunt for passwords on another pc once booted live and was logged out by damm screensaver
where are the install info if someone whats to upgrade their mint 19.2 to BETA 19.3 for testing
clefebvre commented 1 hour ago
We'll continue to fix bugs post-release but BETA is now over.
nevermind, why even post a beta release info if testing is over

the LTE is not out yet, just the beta.
haven't been any updates in the last two days, must be getting very close to final LTE release.

Kernel: 5.3.0-24-generic x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: Cinnamon 4.4.5

Correct, but "Beta" is just a label. If you have 19.3 installed now, you already have all the packages (versioning not withstanding) that will exist when the ISO is compiled.

Basically, some of the isos are final already, just not linked on the download page, see: https://community.linuxmint.com/iso

You have access to them, but you don't necessarily have them. The isos often come with a different set of preinstalled packages (and configuration) than you end up with doing an upgrade. That's nothing beta-specific, but may still be worth pointing out.

You're correct. And when that occurred previously, Clem provided additional details for how to accommodate for that.

As far the best Linux Mint I ever used ! All is 100 % functional. For the first time, all my printers have been installed without doing anything (Personal Brother and professional Toshiba that I never could manage entirely before). The new desktop is very impressive, and thanks to Flathub depository in the management software, I could install the last versions for almost all my favourites software ! I could not install Mint 19.2 on my Asus K55A laptop since I encountered many problems but this release is awesome ! No need of Touchpad indicator to disable the touchpad when a mouse is connected since this function is now include in the system. As usual, I have change the native Mint theme that I don't like and thanks to cinnamon possibilities, all is possible to customize the desktop as you wants.

Big congratulations to the team for all the work that has been done... I love Tricia.

Is there any way to upgrade from 19.2 to the current 19.3-beta?

If you mean 19.2 to 19.3 via the Update Manager, currently no. But I would expect instructions for that to be out soon after the new ISOs are released.

As far as I recall I had added a notification banner to 19.2's Update Manager when a new point release becomes available, you cannot miss it. :)

That aside, no point upgrading to the beta now, beta is over and the release expected in the coming days.

Well,
as I had only installed the beta version ~4 weeks ago, I am good to go.
I will just keep what I have and let the upgrades take care of things....

Loving how stable it is, and enjoying the improvements over 18.3
