What is a rough guesstimate of how long Mint 21 will be in beta before its full release?

Mintupdate 5.8.3 was installed on my system, as described in the blog post. Without using Timeshift (which isn't enabled), how can I undo the regression?

I have regular full backups of OS files.

EDIT: just to add: there have been no noticeable effects from the regression.

That question was asked and answered in the comments.
Question: What about if I had got mintupdate 5.8.3, but afterwards I updated to version 5.8.4? Have I to worry about, because I ‘m not able to restore my system with Timeshift(No snapshots available at this moment)?

Response: Then you’d be impacted. Check your history of updates to see what got updated automatically. In the Update Manager preferences, in automation, re-enable and re-disable (again) automatic updates.

Currently it is advisable to reread the blog at least daily. The advice has been changed since yesterday at least twice.

Why do you believe the words of some stranger who is not affiliated with the Linux Mint team and is only looking for clicks for their website?

When the Linux Mint 21 beta is available, Clement will post in the Releases & Announcements section of this forum and will make a post on the Linux Mint Blog. Neither has happened yet.

The ISO's are just approved for beta release. Probably in a few days they can be downloaded.

When the Beta is officially released, it will be announced on the Linux Mint Blog, where it will also detail the official mirrors available for download, and how to properly report any bugs that may be found.

okay, thanks for the answer. I can't wait for the release and was a little confused as there are a few websites (9to5linux and others) with the beta iso to download.

Which they may have obtained via unofficial means, as the Beta release has not been officially announced. :) Wait for the real deal.

That is what I always do (waiting for the real deal)
Like I said I was just a little confused and thought I missed something as it is the first time I am waiting for a Mint Beta. And in the Blog it said "available next week" and no new updates.
Don't want to hustle anyone. I am just exited

Using downloads from not verified source and without the possibility to verify the download implies the possibility, that there is malware included.

From official blogs (multiple said):
Anyone can produce fake ISO images, it is your responsibility to check you are downloading the official ones.
Using such downloads is as wrong as those, who wrote (yesterday) wrote, that the beta will be officially out in hours. Life has proven them wrong.
