Yeah, "sexy" is the word!!! Beautiful!!!

Will the forum change too?

Congratulations

Sexy indeed...

If only linuxmint became a dress as sexy as the page... the design is still too pop-art, too childish... would be time to get grown up...

http://www.linuxmint.com/mintart/index. ... mitstart=7

is far better than the versions with that too big, too heavy logo (the logo is fine, it's just oversized) and also I like the approach with dominating black background

@ kanishka

Next on the list is the software portal. The forum will be addressed as well but at a later stage.

Its great to see we finally have a website that matches the professionalism and slickness of the distro itself.

Although I'm disappointed to see that if anything the new website has made it even harder to find a torrent download of Mint. Who actually downloads huge files from a web link? We need torrent links to be prominently placed on the download page!

Windows is extremely fast after a fresh install. If you want to make it stay that way: - don't use it.

I don't have a solution, but I do admire the problem.

Wow that is a sexy new homepage. Love it and it is infinitely better than Ubuntu's.

I can understand the thinking behind this but I for one find it a bit annoying

I totally love the redesign, I've been waiting for it for a long time now.

But why does it take SO long to load?

The news headlines on the home page need more content and where appropriate hyperlinks to other parts of the site. I know you will tell me its a work in progress and Rome wasnt built in a day but lets be honest there's no excuse not for having a hyper link to the beta in a news posting announcing the beta! At best its annoying at worst its gunna put people off from downloading it. A hyper link takes what? 5 seconds if that?
