Merchandising via CafePress.com

Post by clem » Wed Oct 31, 2007 12:56 pm

Hi,

A new shop was opened and a few t-shirts / polo / sweat-shirts are available:

http://www.cafepress.com/linuxmint

For each item bought $5 go to Linux Mint and the rest to CafePress.com.

If there are items you would like to see added to the shop or changes in the design of some already listed items please tell us.

Have fun,

Clem.

If you could arrange a fitted t-shirt with just a small logo on one of the chests, I'd buy one. Right now, it looks bloated. :3

Ede: Logo only? And nothing in the back?

Agust: White cap with logo only?

Hello Clem , the cap with logo small i letters please.

Golf-shirt and Sweatshirt , i like above all the letters of the back

What comments Luna on the Mouse pad is a good idea.

T-shirt as well it says Ede the logo is too large.

On the quality of the stickers to my they have left me perfectly :D

I like the size of the logos.
Also like the Idea of a mouse pad.
This is one way to get the word out. :D

Ok, I changed the fitted T-shirt (if you want something in the back tell me), added a cap, a mug and a mousepad... and made a few other modifs.

the stickers are alright if you have them somewhere that they arent going to get touched a lot because the print will rub off quite easily. But if you want to add them Clem my design is on the forums somewhere.

Also, could I design a mousemat in a similar style to the stickers I did?
Just give me the dimensions and I'll do it

EDIT: linuxmint thong FTW! :p

This is great guys! I'm so happy to see Linux Mint becoming ever more popular. It really is the best distribution out there!

Calumc: as big as possible (I can reduce the size but if it's too small there's nothing I can do). Also, I'm using a free cafepress account and they restrict some of the features... I can only have one design per item type so I need to remove the mousepad with the logo if I want to add another mousepad. It's no big deal, just let me know anyway.

Well I know what I'm going to wear next week.. I just impulsively bought half of the store :) I got a cap, a golf shirt, the 3 t-shirts, a mug and a mousepad :)

Watch out for the shipping cost (it's not included in the price, it's added when you check out) especially for international shipping. It's probably cheaper if you live in the US. There's a voucher of $5 coming with the order but considering the shipping you're better off buying everything you're interested in in one go and just ignore the voucher.

calumc: Can you make a 500x500 picture with transparent background and mintytux on it (using the whole width-height of the picture).

Here ya go: http://files.mint-space.com/getfile,200 ... 0.png.html

BTW after a bit of googleing i found this: http://www.spreadshirt.net/en/GB/T-Shir ... hirt-1342/
Its a european alternative to cafepress, they dont do as wide a range of products but maybe we could set up a shop there to save some money for us in europe if the cafepress one goes well

Cool! I got mine ... first order that is. The coffee cup idea is great and who doesn't want another ball cap? :)

Calumc: I created a shop on spreadshirt http://205893.spreadshirt.net and in cafepress I added a t-shirt with mintytux on it.
