I'm running Mint 13 on an Ultrabook with a 1080p 11" screen. Everything is TINY.
On Windows I have DPI scaling set to 150%, but I can't seem to find how to do this in Gnome 3.

Do you have installed gnome-tweak-tool?
Choose "fonts" option to change font size.
