Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install budgie-desktop
Don't know if this will work on other flavors of Ubuntu, Linux Mint 18 or earlier versions it does require a lot of gnome tools. Note Budgie desktop is slow loading, once loaded it is ok. Don't use on Debian unless you are using Debian Stretch but even then, I am not sure if it will work.
Ubuntu Xenial & Wily versions might work.
One tip if not using xfce, install thunar (nautilus may not show in the menu)
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install thunar
The Budgie desktop does crash occasionally but on Linux mint 18 Xfce it recovers automatically. I read somewhere this is a bug.
