Post by capt » Sun Aug 22, 2010 11:40 am

I have set the time manually but it is showing in 24 hour. How can i change it to a 12 hour format? This is a new lxde install.

To get my clock to display AM/PM, I played with values until I stumbled on the right one. My time format is set as %I:%M %P.

Click on the icon with the right mouse button, choose Preferences and you will find an option to set to 12 hour format.

This worked for me, not sure how you figured this out? I would think most people would want the 12 hour format and it would be the default. I'm used to Mint 8 Gnome and finding LXDE a little difficult.

Thanks, capt
