Hi,

I dont get a stabile in internet connection with my laptop. eth0 has random disconects or/and very slow.
(with win xp internet ist fast and stable)

I modprode the drive
I up and down with ifconfig
I play with settings in nearly ALL ubuntu/Linux versions..
I try "make install" the original e100 driver and backdoor the no support >kernel 2.6.
Actually with Mint 14, i put a gatway too my router for getting the dns. but that dont help too. nothing helps

So when i boot i force the eth0 to connect with: sudo mii-tool eth0 -F 10baseT-FD

I read somewhere the card in some sort of sleep mode, and i have too disable it. but how?

"No working leases in persistent database - sleeping."

What can i do, else ? I Think this is caused by the sleep mode.. but how too deactivate it with e100 driver?
(with eepro100 driver ist possible but how too find it and install it??)

NIC is: IntelĀ® PRO/100 VE Network in Laptop A100 toshiba.

Thx,
Robonup

still works -.- after a "brute" reset (press button till pc turn off without shuting down):

ifconfig -a

collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000

So now nothing works, and all perfect in winxp (exept slow becoz of slow win xp like always).
Dont see wirless hotspots.. sux simply, linux mint is so good and fast but one the most important driver (network driver) dont work .. (on my A100 toshiba laptop).
Pls give me some command for wirless/ethernel too disable all sort of sleep modes..
