Hey folks, I have Sarah installed on a Dell ultrabook and working flawlessly with wireless, but want to be able to use a wired ethernet adapter as well (the ultrabook does not come with installed ethernet). I'd like to know brand/models of USB gigabit ethernet adapters that work with Mint 18 Sarah, preferably without having to do the dance of compiling with the kernel. I can't seem to find a compatibility or tested hardware list that includes these. Any suggestions?
And just in case someone asks, the reason for wanting to avoid the kernel compilation issue is largely because I don't want to have to do the whole process every time an upgrade to the kernel comes out. If a plug-and-play option exists, I want it. Thanks in advance!
