Easytether working with Mint 18.1?

Post by Skinded » Mon Jun 26, 2017 4:48 pm

Is anyone currently using easytether with mint? Does it work properly? I'm asking because I just came from Windows and on Windows I used a program called PDAnet but it only works with Windows and Mac. Thanks in advance.

(p.s. whats up with the password rules)

The password rules make it much harder for spammers to crack members passwords to post their spam. If I need to tether to my phone, I just plug it into the computer using the USB cable and enable USB tethering on my phone.

The thing is I have to use a program that lets me tether from my phones "unlimited" data instead of from the allocated 10gb of tether data.

I use klink with both Windows 10 and Mint with no problems. I was using a Galaxy S4 from Sprint, but recently moved to a Galaxy S7 Edge with Verizon.
