Internet doesn't work after I unlock the locked PC.

I think this is not a hardware problem. Because, whenever just after booting the PC, in any OS, the internet works perfectly.

I use Linux Mint 18.2 Cinnamon 64 bit, and tried to connect to the internet by using several different web browsers (such as chrome, firefox, etc.), but it didn't work.

But there is an interesting thing. As I wrote above, whenever I open the internet just after booting the PC, it works well. But..., as everyone knows, if I leave the PC, the computer automatically goes sleep mode and the screen turns off(and also be locked as well). Then the problem occurs. When I unlock the PC and try to connect to the internet, it just doesn't work. It doesn't make sense. No matter whatever the domain that I am connecting is, it just shows the white screen...

So after I reboot the PC again, it works well again!

I am new to Linux and every single thing seems like a problem to me. This makes me frustrated.., and it is also extremely inconvenient.

What can I do?

that sounds like the internet connection is not waking up,
after going to 'sleep'.

what connection are you using?
- - WiFi or Ethernet connection?.
