prevent cinnamon from sleeping while files are playing on the raspberry pi

hi again

when my pi is playing music and my desktop (where the files are) is getting asleep the music is cut and i need to go to the desktop for waking it.

the 'wake on lan' is working only when i try to play files but not when they are already playing.

what can i do so the 'wake on lan' will work better and i will not have to wake it myself?

The Raspberry Pi uses so little power that it would make sense to simply turn the sleep function off completely.
