Connection loss after exactly one hour

Post by taq0 »

Hello,

So basically as the title suggests I lose my internet connection exactly one hour after starting Linux Mint. I can then just turn off the wired connection in the network settings and turn them back on again, and don't have any problems until the next restart.

uname -a

Code: Select all

4.10.0-35-generic #39~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Sep 13 09:02:42 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
ifconfig

Code: Select all

enp3s0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr d4:3d:7e:f1:54:6a
          inet addr:192.168.0.151 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
          inet6 addr: fe80::d63d:7eff:fef1:546a/64 Scope:Link
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

And this is probably the important bit, /var/log/syslog at the time of connection loss:

Code: Select all

avahi-daemon[942]: Withdrawing address record for 192.168.0.151 on enp3s0.
avahi-daemon[942]: Leaving mDNS multicast group on interface enp3s0.IPv4 with address 192.168.0.151.
avahi-daemon[942]: Interface enp3s0.IPv4 no longer relevant for mDNS.
However I don't really know how to make sense of this.
Can anyone help me?
What I already tried is disabling ipv6 because I read that somewhere when googling the message above, to no avail.
