Linux mint 18.3, Gigabit ethernet connection only transfers at half speeds

Post by BeezerB »

I have had this issue with two different systems recently. I've looked for about a week but havn't found a way to get proper speeds.

I just installed Linux Mint 18.3 exclusively onto my desktop. When i send a video file over the network to my NAS, my speeds cap at around 45 MB/s. Previously when i had Windows 10 on this exact same machine, the same file would transfer at around 110MB/s. My entire network is a Gigabit connection, it shows it in the settings, but it will not transfer at those speeds. I've seen people suggest turn off IPV6, but that didn't help, and i'm using a SDD, so it's not a hard drive bottleneck. Below is my system information. Any help will be appreciated.
