Try the latest kernel of the 4.4 series.
Update Manager - panel: View - Linux kernels

After installing it, make sure you boot from it (it's under the header Advanced in the Grub bootloader menu).

If that doesn't help, try the latest kernel of the 4.15 series.

Thanks i will try that again, i have updated the kernel once or twice since initial install, but i have also roll backed a few times due to breaking my software functionality and compatibility with some updates.

EDIT1: What are the dangers of going to a older or newer branch like 4.4.x when im on 4.13 now?

EDIT2: 4.4.x did not show up under advanced in the boot menu.

I could not find in the manual what are the _TWO_ Ethernet ports in S3 wireless module used for. Also, how what for to use memory slot in S3?

Any info on the subject or a link to a document would be appreciated.
