Ethernet Connection issues with LM 18.1 Serena

The computer at a workplace has not been able to connect to the internet via Ethernet connection for several weeks now. I've searched for various solutions and nothing I've tried has worked so far. The internet connection itself is fine as every other device connected to the modem/router is able to use Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Every bit of help is much appreciated!
