Hi, I've seen people dance around this topic here, but don't see an answer here.
I have a RealTek RTL8125 NIC. I'm able to download and install the driver fine, but have noticed that after a upgrade requiring a restart it must be reinstalled. I've read here- https://askubuntu.com/questions/1263363 ... tion-guide about how to create a file to resolve that issue, but I don't see the folder for the driver in the file path it describes- /usr/src/ So where is this driver installed? Are the instructions in that link a good way to avoid having to reinstall after upgrades?

You can look to that link for installing same driver with the dkms package. https://github.com/awesometic/realtek-r8125-dkms
