Hey guys... just wanted to do a quick test on how Julia will install on my windows comp so mounted the image with daemon tools and installed it by mint4win ...
It installed and ran without a prob but it had no network connections... although it displayed both my onboard NICs. Rebooting back to windows now shows same thing - no network connection. Switched the cable to the other card and I got the network back immediatelly under win, but now I am a bit sceptical about testing it in julia since the other card appears dead in the water... it is registered on both OSes, but nothing happens when I plug in the cable.
Anyone has any experience with this?

Windows is extremely fast after a fresh install. If you want to make it stay that way: - don't use it.
