Virtualbox on XP Host

Post by Fornhamfred » Wed Oct 31, 2007 3:52 pm

I have installed Celena in virtualbox on my XP machine and everything is working fine except that I cannot access the network on the host machine. I can how-ever access my PcLinux machine on the network. My printer is hung from the XP machine and I am unable to print to it from Mint. If I go into networking on Celena both the XP machine and the PcLinux machine are shown but trying to open the XP machine produces the error message Folder contents could not be displayed.
Can anyone give me any suggestions please.

Welcome to Mint Fornhamfred
I'm not sure you can network from the virtual machine to the host.
At any rate this is something I think you should ask about at the home page of the virtual machine (Wmware?)

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
