Reinstall Linux

Post by caroaura »

Hello I have Linux Mint 17.1 installed but I want to reinstall it in the version 17.2 because I have some bugs or problems of some kind and would like to start all over again. I downloaded the ISO image and U have CDEMU. I loaded the image into the virtual drive but I find nothing to run the installation as I did when I had windows. I only have Linux in my computer and would like to reinstall from linux. I also have the bootable pendrive but I do not know how to run it or how to enter into the computer BIOS. Thanks!

how did you install LinuxMint 17.1 ??.

if you can boot the Mint 17.2 to a desktop, then you will see an install icon on that desktop.
- which you can then click on, to start the installation.

what type of computer are you using ? - in order to tell you how to get into the BIOS, we need to know that.
- have you tried inserting the usb stick into a port to see if it boots, when the PC is turned on ?.
