Does Anyone have a Linux Mint 4.0 "Daryna" iso?

Post by hider » Tue Feb 12, 2019 3:33 pm

Hello,
i need a Linux Mint 4.0 "Daryna" XFCE Community BETA 008 or Mint 4.0 miniKDE
i've tried: Linux Mint Mirrors (Deleted form Releases Folder), Linux Mint Offical Torrents (OpenBitTorrent is dead), Wayback Machine and the Internet Archive. No iso's or working Torrent found :(

if anyone has these images (both would be great) send me a message on reddit, My Reddit username is /u/mrnebelfugi

Thx hider

Here Are Screenshots of the miniKDE and XFCE versions:

for a 12yo release I'd go to source, as seen at bottom of release notes, try email: root@linuxmint.com

otherwise, ugh... can you find a checksum to verify? if so look at other search engine hits that mention having it (host their own file repositories, not just link to Mint's)

yes - just about everything would be off-line, by now.

the earliest version, that I've got, is Linux Mint 5 "Elyssa" and that is on a CD,,
but I've most likely still got the original ISO somewhere.

EDIT - this site also has a ton of old software, including Mint 4: https://soft.lafibre.info/
Mint 19.2 XFCE
kernel 4.15.0-64-generic
AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core w/16 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 960 w/2GB RAM (435.21)

hey hider, what a great blast from the past thread, turned up some real gold nuggets in response!

Please consider, as is the forums norm, to go back to your first post this thread and edit the topic/subject (pencil icon, top right) and add <Solved> to the title. This may help others in the future who search forums for solutions on similar issues. Thanks!
