First impressions of Mint

Post by PJC » Wed Jan 12, 2011 7:47 am

Hello,

I have recently installed Mint after a number of years using Linux (Mandrake (2002) to Xandos to Fedora to Ubuntu and now Mint).

I must say that I am very impressed. Everything worked first go and all my data transferred cleanly over. All my apps work perfectly (GRAMPs, Evolution, Gimp, etc etc.)

The PC is not that new but responses crisply and movies and and the internet run very well.

Keep up the great work.

If only I could solve my network browsing problem all would be perfect.......

Regards

Paul

Welcome to Mint and the Forum. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay!

Just post a question to the Forum about your Network browsing problems and I'm certain will be along to give you some help. Don't forget to include details of your setup, though.
