Hey all,
I was just wondering since Mint is based off of Ubuntu releases, will Mint follow in Ubuntu's footsteps and use Unity instead of GNOME as the default desktop and what about x windows vs wayland?

I hope not, but I have come to the conclusion that I won't care if they do, as I would then replace the desktop with one I may prefer, such as LXDE

Clem has been quoted as saying that he does not intend to use Unity or Gnome Shell in Mint 11

Gnome Shell 2.91 is not stable, I'm sure they'll use stable vervions (3.0 and higher).
