I'm confused, since none of the forums seem to state GNOME... and as far as I know I am not using the Debian version....
Perhaps I am not the only one who is slightly confused about this and all the versions and releases of Linux Mint?
Linux Mint Lisa (GNOME...) - which forum should I use?

Re: Linux Mint Lisa (GNOME...) - which forum should I use?
Gnome is a desktop environment, like is KDE or LXDE or XFCE. They all work in pretty much the same way though; you can use apps from different DEs interchangeably.
You should use the forums based on the specific issues or questions you have. For example, a question or issue about wireless should go in the Networking category, and so on.
