NFS in MINT6 KDE RC1

Post by lanrun »

Hello

I found configuration tool for SAMBA but not for NFS.
In ADEPT I can't find any NFS packages.

Is it possible to add any utilities for using NFS?

regards

Hi

Look in synaptic, you will find nfs files there.

Hi

Aha! There was synaptic with nfs packages, but unlike samba - there is no configuration tool for nfs?
NFS is preferable in LINUX, so why not a configuration tool to take care of both server and client setup - not only the server part of nfs.
For the client part we still must manually edit the fstab?
