BUT...I can see nothing on those folders at all, when there are music files which work perfectly if I plug the storage into by Laptop (Mint 18 MATE). When I try to click the file I get the error 'unable to mount location - file doesn't exist.
I get exactly the same behavior BTW on the streaming box on my TV - share is found, but I cannot access the actual files. This suggest there is something wrong with my config...
