deleted network config
In an attempt to refresh my wired network connection I have deleted the wired connection 1 config by mistake, I am using mint 17.3 and whilst I have found the auto ethernet (eth0) I am unable to reconnect on any wired connection type, how do I recover or reinstall lost network connection settings

Solved. Problem was hardware not software, but if anyone is able to answer this question all help is appreciated
