Driver Manager with Proxy

Post by ngrcld »

Hi!

I'm trying to install some system drivers but my network have proxy.

I already set the proxy and can use the update manager, apt tools, internet surfing etc

The problem is: Driver Manager

Same problem as stated here: viewtopic.php?t=249552

The problem is also present when the proxy requires no authentication.

I googled
"driver manager" "proxy"
and got this ("driver-manager proxy settings")
viewtopic.php?t=177371
and a few other solutions.
Please edit your original post title to include [SOLVED] if/when it is solved!

Still waiting the solution for that... :?

Running Driver Manager through terminal...

Code: Select all

user@LINUXMINT ~ $ sudo driver-manager
Post-install mode detected
Checking connectivity or live media...
Internet connection detected
But still getting the message: "Network isn't available" at GUI...

apt is running great using proxy auth, internet surfing either...

No one cares about this problem?! :x
