Keep OpenVPN alive

Post by Tripple_Delta »

Hi,

I'm running Linux Mint 18.2 Cinnamon on my laptop.
When I close my laptop and open it again the VPN is disconnected. Is there a way to avoid this?

Thanks.

Yes. Don't close the laptop. It's highly likely that the connection is being reset by your VPN provider because no keep-alive signal is being detected.
