PPTP connection failing?

Post by harryajh »

Hi, running LM 17.3 on 2 different PCs and and trying to connect using PPTP to my PureVPN account - 1 works fine the other fails and I cannot see for the life of me, why it’s failing

I’ve checked the connection settings a million time and both are identical to the tutorial https://support.purevpn.com/pptp-config ... format=pdf

Does this system log of the failed one mean anything to anyone?

Code: Select all

Re: PPTP connection failing?

Post by nanohead »

I'm having the identical problem with the exact same VPN provider. Basically, nothing works.

I've tried PPTP, OpenVPN with both UDP and TCP, and nothing works.

Seems like a local Linux issue actually, as I can get in from my windows machine that is sitting right next to the linux machine
