Firewall settings for Woof

Post by DanielSch »

Hello there,

I have installed woof (http://www.home.unix-ag.org/simon/woof.html) to share files between computer and tablet via wifi.

my question: Is the firewall-configuration OK like this or a security risk?

It works, however I would like to know if it's ok like this.

Thanks a lot

cheers

I don't use that application so it's hard to tell.

It looks like you're overall policy is to drop incoming with the exception of port 8080.

Paste back the url from sudo iptables -L -nv|pastebin and I'll see if I can decipher it.
