UFW How to set different rules for each profile?

Post by MenthaSuaveolens »

UFW has 3 profiles : home, office, public. I guess that using another profile implies other firewall-rules? I enabled ssh by means of the terminal-command

Code: Select all

sudo ufw allow ssh
. This is probably an overall rule, which is valid for all the profiles? I want to disable ssh only for the public-profile. How can this be done? Is there some kind of documentation available of what these profiles stand for?

Well, neither https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UFW nor https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Gufw is talking about the behaviour of these profiles.
