Mint 18 can't open external drive attached to Win 10
I can see the external drive on the network but it asks for password. The sharing is set to not require a password. All the other shared folders on the Win 10 machine are accessible from the LM 18 box.

OK so I was able to access the External hard drive by creating a shared folder on the drive, adding all of the other folders, and sharing it on the network.
Seems clumsy. Is there a cleaner method?
