NFS fstab incorrect options

Post by brewerbart » Tue Jan 02, 2018 7:28 pm

Have 64-bit Mint on latest stable mint 18.1
I am having problem editing the fstab file to mount my nfs share from my NAS. I can manually mount with command below. But fstab on mount -a says incorrect nfs options.

Command that works :
sudo mount //192.168.1.XX/Media /nfs/media -o username=admin,password=xxxxxxxx 0 0

fstab entry not working

192.168.1.XX:/media /nfs/media nfs username=admin,passoword=xxxxxx 0 0

. I have added NFS common package for mount helper , but this had no effect.

I would appreciate any help. I am using NFS 4 .
