UFW BLOCK message after plugging USB Gamepad

Post by Kyowash » Sat Jun 16, 2018 9:42 am

I have a Thrustmaster USB gamepad, and while reading the syslog I noticed every time I plug or unplug it the firewall blocks a connection using IPv6:

Code: Select all

fe80:0000:0000:0000:16f4:d5ae:eb29:100a is my IPv6 address. Every time I plug the gamepad It's blocking what I send to that address, ff02:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0001, and I have no idea what device in my network it is. Does anyone know why this happens?

Also, I didn't know if I should put this in Hardware Support or in Networking, but since I would like to know the reason of those messages by the firewall I decided to put it here.
