If the kernel you have installed and running is working .... "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" is usually sage advice. As for removing kernels - because they are, on disk, relatively small it's also usually a good idea to have at least one other working kernel installed .... just in case things go pear-shaped.

Now, that's what I would do. It'll be interesting to see what advice you get from those much wiser than me in the ways of Linux.

Let it run for a few days to make sure all is well. and if after that time still running you can delete the old kernel.
Enjoy :)

So yesterday i got this update called rfkill. Installed it, and since then all previous problems are back. I checked rf kill status and it does not come up as blocked, no hard or soft blocks, other than my bluetooth, which i have kept off, but internet lags pages dont open, basically its the same thing that i used to have earlier. Is it safe to uninstall this rf kill thing

You may of had received a kernel upgrade I doubt that rfkill would do that. But Did you reboot since the upgrade? If not do so and try again.

Yes i did. It happened last night and i noticed the change after turning on my laptop this morning. I uninstalled rf kill from synaptic package manager, but it took blueberry along with it. But doing so my internet came back to normal. But as i reinstalled blueberry again rf kill came alongside, and i am down to same lags and slow connectivity. Bluetooth also dont show my bt speaker, it wasnt doing so earlier ad well. Think i ve got to sacrifice bluetooth to get a better connectivity

Yes on some cards that handle both bluetooth and wireless there is a problem with the bluetooth interfering with the wireless side. That may be the best you can do with that card.

Not giving up on linux mint. Its too good an operating system to give up for such minor issues. As long as my wifi internet works, i am good.
