I am currently using the Proxy Server TorGuard. HTTP proxy is working A-OK using the correct ports in Mate's Network Proxy Preferences. But, SSL is available. The SSL ports will not work in the HTTPS setup. The TorGuard Help Desk has stated that the only way to SSL via proxy is to use their browser extension. I've tried that and the extension is not stable.
Anyone had experience in getting SSL to work? I just want that extra layer of security.
