I just installed Mint 19, on my sony vaio but my wi-fi internet connection is not working.
I have read and tried many solutions around the forums but to no use on my laptop. I'm quite new to using linux and having a hard time working around this issue.
Any suggestions or advice are most welcome!!!

Right click the connection icon lower right tray, Enable Wi-Fi should have a check mark. if not, click it. If that doesn't help, check for a physical wifi switch on the side or front of laptop that may be off. Or an F key on the keyboard with a wifi symbol you can turn on with Fn & F key.
