Am having issues when installing Mint 19 XFCE on a Dell Mini 9 netbook (32 bit).
When booting the live USB session, everything just works out-of-the-box. (ethernet, wifi, bluetooth,....everything)
All the usual icons are present in the system tray (bluetooth, network, volume, clock, etc.)
After installation on the SSD, the network manage, bluetooth, volume, and time icons are totally missing from the system tray.
I could add the time back (did not look if volume control was available).
However, there is no option to add Network Manager or bluetooth icons.
The wired ethernet connection is working, but there is no obvious way to configure the wifi or bluetooth.
This problem does NOT exist with MInt 18...that full install works just like the live session.

Re: Network manager
Hi rperitsky,
I guess you would need to add "Notification Area" to your panel:
Right-click on the panel--> Panel: Add new items Scroll down to "Notification Area", mark it and click "Add" at the bottom of the window.
Hope this helps!
