Fritz!VPN works with Android not with Mint19

I have a Fritzbox 7940 with a VPN possibility, activating this and installing the client as shown in a manuel for android devices worked well. https://en.avm.de/service/vpn/tips-tric ... n-android/

Following the instructions in this https://en.avm.de/service/vpn/tips-tric ... -in-linux/ website my Linuxmint Laptop did not work. I contacted AVM for advice, they that said since the android device worked the problem was with Linuxmint and they adviced me to do what I am doing now.

I hope someone will take a look at the client setup instructions to see if something is wrong or missing
