Using Remmina VNC to "connect" Linux computers on local network

Post by Netherprovinc3 »

I would like to use Remmina so that I can access the desktops (back and forth) of 2 computers that are on my local network.
Computers:
Ubuntu 18.04
Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon

I have Remmina installed on both of the computers.
On the Ubuntu computer, I went into settings, and allowed screen sharing.
On the Linux Mint computer, I installed Vino (source: https://thelinuxexperiment.com/enabling ... x-mint-19/ )

Code: Select all

sudo apt install vino
and ran it

Code: Select all

/usr/lib/vino/vino-server
I am only able to connect from Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon to Ubuntu 18.04, but not the reverse.
Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon
