Warpinator in LM20 doesnot see Warpinator in LM19.3

Post by andrewgouw »

I have two LM computers, one with LM 19.3 and the other with LM 20. I have installed Warpinator 1.02 in the LM 19.3 machine and LM 20 came with Warpinator 1.08 installed.
The Warpinator in the LM 19.3 machine can see the LM 20 machine but the Warpinator in LM 20 doesn't see the LM 19.3 machine.
Attached are the preference settings of both which are the same.
What did I miss doing? They are both on the same network. Can anybody help? Thanks.

I uninstalled Warpinator 1.0.2 and replaced it with Warpinator 1.0.8.
Now that both machines have the same version of Warpinator both can see each other. Problem Solved.

I have exactly the same problem. How do I install Vers. 1.0.8 on LM19.3? I've added the PPA from the Github site but the version on the repository is 1.0.2.

Edit, I've now updated to 1.0.8 on LM19.3 but LM20.1 is using Warpinator 1.1.2 and this is apparently not compatible with LM19.3.

Sounds like a "work in progress" situation.
