Internet security

Post by 12Wesley » Thu Feb 25, 2010 10:59 pm

My wireless connection may not be secure

I use wireless at work provided by another company. I am considered
a customer thus this service is provided. I'm the only on the
router if that matters. Recently the router was changed
from a linksys to a buffalo. At that time the company removed
a wired LAN cable I was using. He insisted to set my
network up on the router. Which I did to keep him off my
machine. My work is confidental I have switched to a gsm coonection
however the company is removing the gsm repater tower due
to a service issue.
Sorry for the long post. What can I do to be secure
and prevent spying on the supplied network
that I don't control. Not sure if this is possible

This is the same as this post- only you call it Internet security now and wireless security there
The question and the answer is the same, if you need more help ask in the other topic
Please don't crosspost
Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
