I teach BIM and sometimes, during sketching classes I run MyPaint on Mint in class.
Students are naturally inquisitive and ask about it, so I put together a document that talks them through the benefits and pitfall of Linux usage (with plenty of screenshots some my own some from online) now availabe on our college BlackBoard system.
It's written from a Cad perspective but very general and if anybody would like to use it as an introductory document to others then feel free.
I've uploaded a pdf as well as an odt and a doc for easy editing.

Any serious omissions or errors feel free to PM me and I'll change it.
