Explanation of privacy Linux OS

Post by tweetybird »

To fully understand the implementation of tracking say one is using Mozilla Firefox and using Microsoft Windows. Is the tracking software or whatever it is put on web browser cookies and phones home and/or installed into the registry?

What is the difference if one has the Linux Mint OS?
Linux Mint 18.3 Sylvia 64 bit

If you use Windows and Linux and do the same thing with the same browser, and have the same browser settings, you'll end up with the same tracking cookies.
Its the browser (for general surfing) that holds the info.
