Black screen? Solved.

Post by LennartL »

Since I often use screenshots to take pictures, something strange has now happened.
When I click on "Select area to capture" and press "Take a screenshot", the entire screen turns black.
If I click on the screen, everything comes back, but I can not take a picture.
All this came 2-3 days ago.
Have checked all the update and find nothing.
Someone know?

You need to add some more, the release number / DE isn't that useful. Copy/paste the text output of inxi -Fxxxrz run in the terminal.

Have checked all the update and find nothing.
Does this mean you made no system updates in the past 2-3 days?

Have you added any new software in that time period?

What problems were you having that you decided to try the 5.11 kernel?

I do not understand what that means. Do you mean an update came through Update Manager?

Do you have any Timeshift snapshots of a working system before this problem started?
